We use a thermographic camera to find hot spots, cold spots and possible water leaks in the walls. For an additional fee we can also inspect the water quality, air quality, radon levels, and septic systems.

You would normally schedule your inspection after you get a signed offer back from the seller. Your real estate agent will guide you through the process.

Yes, we absolutely recommend that you come along. As we take you through the house, we can show you what we look for and talk about basic maintenance tips. If you are unable to attend, we would be happy to go through the report with you over the phone at your convenience.

The average inspection takes 1.5 to 3 hours depending on size and complexity.

Yes, you can purchase just testing services even if you are not looking for a home inspection. If you do get a home inspection the additional testing services will come at a discount.

You, the client, are the only person who will receive the home inspection report and may choose who you share it with, such as your real estate agent.

We aim to provide the report the same day as the inspection, but some are more complicated than others, in which case you will receive the report the next day.

No. we will identify risk factors in the report, but everyone’s risk tolerance and maintenance/repair know how is different. If you need further advice to help you make a decision, you should ask your real estate agent.
